About us

Jamie Rubin has a B.A. from Brandeis University. She is a trained doula at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and is completing her study towards a Certificate in Labor Support and Diploma in Childbirth Education from Childbirth International, the world's leading certification program for doulas and childbirth educators.

Jamie lives in Pikesville with her husband, Aaron, and young son, Noah. She is shomeret mitzvot, and sensitive to all halachic issues. As a doula, Jamie can attend your birth on Shabbat or Yom Tov, and is available for phone support during those times!

Doula Availability

Jamie is currently taking clients due May 2004 and later. Jamie lives in Pikesville with her husband and young son. She prefers to stay in the greater Pikesville area, but will travel to any Baltimore birthplace within a half hour drive. To contact Jamie, email her at jamie@beshaahtovah.com or phone her at 410 653 7577.

Back-up Doula Policy

BeShaahTovah- In Due Time- provides back-up doula support in the event that the primary doula is unable to attend your birth. We encourage you to ask your doula about her back-up, and to meet her if you would like to get to know her ahead of time, should an unexpected conflict arise.
